Project Overview
A 1960s poolside local, brought back to life.
The brief was self-written: take a fictional pub on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, imagine it’s been sitting in the same spot since the 1960s, and give it a rebrand that feels like it earned its character.
The Springboard Hotel identity is built around the image of a diver, a nod to the old pool the venue was supposedly built around. The logomark pairs a hand-drawn illustration with Gill Sans Ultrabold and Luxurious Script, sitting across a warm, earthy palette that references poolside tiles, sunscreen, and cold beer. Touchpoints extended across menus, coasters and social assets.
